This monday morning was an early one for those joining Marine Dynamics for a bit of shark cage diving. We launched from Kleinbaai harbour and as we anchored in the Shallows we were greeted to the sight of the sun breaking over the mountains and through the clouds casting a golden glow over the bay. It seemed only fitting that with such glorious sunshine that those sharks we refer to as the golden sharks were first to turn up as the Bronze whalers gracefully came cruising in. These sharks kept the sightings going for the entire trip with most of our time spent enjoying the view of them swimming past the boat and cage. The Short-tailed stingray joined the trip, as to not be left out, and could be seen gliding much of the time down deep, making a few trips to the surface.

For our second trip we headed out from Gansbaai and around Danger Point towards the shallows. As we arrived we got our divers geared up into their suits and ready for some sharks. We started with a few lovely copper sharks, and thenn we got ourself a white shark! The 2.5m male crusied around and gave us some nice sightings, soon to be replaced by the copper sharks again. Our divers managed to get some beautiful views of the sharks underwater, with a bonus of a stingray towards the end of the trip. All our guests enjoyed the sunshine and the sharks on this beautiful Easter Monday.
