We launched into stunning conditions this morning and arrived to our dive site eager to get to know some of our white sharks. We didn’t have to wait too long for our first shark, the 3.8m male with the bite mark around the gills. He gave us some nice activity for our first cage of divers, with some awesome passes very close to the cage. Next up a copper shark, elegantly gliding around Slashfin, still interesting that these sharks are hanging around in the bay! We had a bit of a lull, but got to learn some interesting facts about sharks while we waited. And it was thoroughly worth the wait, with Clampy joining us, a shark that has been hanging out in the bay for around a month now! Next up we had a very quick pass from a 3.5m shark, followed by the 4m female with the copepods on the right side of her head. She was a star of the show today, displaying a stunning range of different behaviours during her time around Slashfin. To close out the trip a very curious 2m female came to check out our last group of cage divers.
