The boat charged out of the harbour this morning heading towards to the shallows with great anticipation. On the way to the dive site, we were greeted by several Southern Right Whales which was a perfect way to start the day. Once on anchor, the divers didn’t wait long at all for the copper sharks to show up. A really fun moment from the day was watching the Cape Fur Seal throwing a fish up in the air only to miss his catch. We had several honeymoon couples onboard today, so we wish you all Congratulations and thank you for starting your new life together with us at Marine Dynamics.

Right after a bit of rain, our second trip began in nice, sunny conditions. We had quite a bumpy but fun ride to our dive location in the Shallows. The sharks appeared as soon as the bait touched the water and divers, who were quick enough to change into their wetsuits, excitedly got into the cage. Coppers sharks were extremely active and gave us an unforgettable performance in front of the cage. Our now common visitor a Cape Fur Seal came to say hello and even got after a copper shark at one point, which was absolutely thrilling for our guests. Although it was quite swelly, the sun was shining throughout the whole trip and sharks were great. Once everyone had their time with the beautiful sharks in the cage, we, unfortunately, had to return to the bay. Tired but happy divers were welcomed back with some delicious soup and bread.
