Sightings:  Bronze whalers

Location: Joubertsdam

Water Temperature: Moderate

Visibility: Low

A wet and wild Tuesday for Marine Dynamics as we spent the afternoon on the water with some choppier conditions. We had a little wait for our first shark to appear, but the higher winds made for a pretty impressive scent trail leaving our vessel and with time a Bronze whaler came into view. This was a smaller, shyer individual that would start its’ approach before turning away a few minutes from the cage and boat. This continued for sometime until two larger Bronze whalers made their presence known, these two, one male and one female, showcased completely different behaviour to the smaller individual and we enjoyed some up close and personal sightings for the rest of the trip.

If you are looking to get up close and personal with the great white shark then White Shark Diving in South Africa, and more specifically with Marine Dynamics, is a once-in-a-lifetime experience you won’t want to miss. Book and pay online with us and get a free video of your encounter with the world’s apex predator.
