Location: Gansbaai, South Africa

Dive site: Joubertsdam

Water temp: Moderate

Visibility: Good

Sightings: Bronze whaler sharks, Short-tail stingrays, Broadnose sevengill shark + Cape fur seal

Summary: A great early start to the day for our first trip out this morning! We were treated to an incredible sunrise over the dam, while several Subantarctic skuas followed our vessel on the way to the dive site. Upon arrival, our divers geared up in their wetsuits, and not before long, the first Bronze whaler shark made an appearance. We were also lucky to encounter two Short-tail stingrays and a Cape fur seal relaxing among the sharks. The second trip of the day were treated to continued shark sightings of the Bronze whaler sharks, a Broadnose sevengill shark and a well known Short-tail stingray. A big thank you to all our wonderful guests for joining us today and making it another memorable experience on the water!
