This morning an exclusive charter of 11 guests from America joined us for our first trip. We headed out of Gansbaai harbour this morning due to the low tide, and headed over to the Islands first. We had a stunning ride around Danger Point through the washing machine and into Shark Alley. As we cruised through the alley we got nice and close to some of our 60000 Cape Fur Seals. These guys were rather playful infront of Slashfin as we slowly cruised through the Alley. As we left we approached Dyer Island and even managed to spot a few penguins chilling on the rock amongst the Cape Cormorants. We waved goodbye to the penguins and then headed to the shallows on a mission to see some sharks. They did not disappoint this morning, with sharks around the boat very quickly and some stunning activity throughout the entire trip! We had ourselves a very happy group of divers, and a bonus of a couple of breaching bronzies towards the end.

In the afternoon we once again headed back to our dive-site, and as our guests got into their wetsuits, the Copper sharks once again arrived. Our divers climbed into the cage and were thrilled by the activity of these beautiful animals. Towards the end of the trip a Short-tailed stingray briefly came up, giving our divers only a hint at it’s size. By the end of our trip, our divers left satisfied, having ticked something off their bucket list, and glad to have dry land back underneath their feet.
