Conditions: Beautiful sunny day with low wind and swell.

We had ideal conditions on the ocean today. For our area, it was the lowest swell that we see. Patience was rewarded as all three trips were fortunate to see white sharks and some coppers too. The first trip had nice activity, rewarding our patience for the morning wait with a new, beautiful large female that was both impressive by size and activity as well as two of our well known animals over the last three weeks and a male that has been documented in the bay for the last two weeks but only shows up only a few days a week we ended the morning with a pleasent cruise into Gansbaai harbour giving the guests a chance to view Danger Point. One of the guests from the second trip actually used to live at the lighthouse, so she shared fascinating stories about growing up with the ocean as her playground. We also had some brave Australians who decided to cage dive in just their “Budgy Smuggler’s”, making it quite the cheeky day. Bravo to them and thanks guys for all the laughs and entertainment on board.  Mini Nemo made a splash with his appearance.  We also had a light colored 4m shark who had scratches over his entire body.  Oh the stories he must have to tell.
