Rise and shine shark cage divers its time to see what sharks are crusing through the Shallows this morning. Another early morning for the guests of Marine Dynamics as we arrived at the Great White house with the sun rising and launched Slashfin as the first boat out on sea.

Once the anchor was settled we went about getting the boat and divers ready before the sharks appeared. It did not take long with the arrival of a large, pale coloured, female Copper shark making its’ presence known. This shark stuck around for the entire first cage, before disappearing for the rest of the trip. During the later half of the trip a new Copper shark approached but only briefly appearing before disappearing, coming and going every once in a while for the rest of the trip.

The second trip of the day saw the slower activity from the end of first for the start of the trip before things started to pick up. Before the sharks appeared a curious Cape Fur seal surfaced and bobbed around the boat before heading off, most likely on a meal finding mission through the Shallows. The Copper sharks did not skip this trip and thankfully came through in the end.
