Why not have a little sleep in today we thought? This also gave us the morning to check the weather conditions, which despite some not so nice predictions, turned out to be a relatively nice day on the sea with none of the rain that was forecasted but a slight swell and west wind. Once on anchor and with wetsuits being wiggles into we had our first shark approach, a Copper shark. This individual had brought some friends, as Copper sharks tend to, being seen in pairs or more. Sightings of these beautifully ‘bronzed’ sharks continued throughout the trip and we also had a Short-tailed stingray join too!

A nice day out on the water yet another day without the bays White sharks…hopefully they will grace the area with their presence soon again…
