Conditions: A sunny day with a little wind.

We left the harbour on a beautiful not so early morning. The sun was shining and the wind was dropping down. On our way to the dive site, we were followed by a flock of Cape Cormorants. Once we reached the dive site we dropped the cage into the water and the divers quickly changed into their wetsuits. The sharks made us wait a little bit longer than usual, but as soon as we changed our anchor spot, they started arriving one after another. Straight after Coppers Sharks we were visited by two beautiful Short Tailed Stingrays, who came up to the surface a few times throughout the whole trip.  Our divers were extremely excited to see the sharks up close and learn more about these incredible animals. After everyone had their chance to dive, we left the cage behind for the next trip and headed back to the harbour.

We had a lovely second tour on Slashfin today, with a light breeze blowing and some amazing shark activity. We got to do most of our diving with some curious Copper Sharks, but we also had a Short Tailed Stingray and even a Cape Fur Seal make an appearance.  We did not have to wait long for the action to begin, with the sharks popping up after only about 10 minutes on anchor. Our divers had some close encounters in the cage, with the sharks coming right up to give everyone a great look. About half way through the tour, the stingray appeared and began to try his luck, giving our divers some impressive views as he lunged up in an effort to investigate our operation. On this tour, we also got to spot some Southern Right Whales, including a pair breaching in the distance.
