Location: Gansbaai, South Africa

Dive site: Joubertsdam

Water temp: Moderate

Visibility: Moderate

Sightings: Bronze whaler sharks

Summary: What an amazing day for our divers and guests on board Slashfin! Our first trip had some fanatastic encounters with the Bronze whaler sharks, getting up close sightings of these majestic animals. The second trip started off with sightings of the endangered African penguins before arriving at our dive site. Guests experienced Bronze whaler sharks, the large Short-tail stingray and a Cape fur seal in front of the cage. Before heading back to Kleinbaai Harbour, we spotted the unique V-shaped spouts just off our dive site. We slowly headed over to find 2 Southern Right whales calmly moving through the surface of the water. Overall a successful day for our passengers, thank you to all who joined us!
