Trip 1
The first launch was around late morning due to swell earlier on in the day. On the way to our dive site, Joubertsdam, the clients were lucky enough to spot a Southern right whale. The first shark arrived within thirty minutes of anchoring. This was a large 4.0 metre female who wowed the clients with her highly active behaviour and amazing breaches. This spectacular animal stuck around for the duration of the trip. The next to visit us was a 2.2 metre shark which was recently tagged by the Dyer Island Conservation Trust. We also had another massive 4.0 metre shark show up which stunned clients with her size and gracefulness.

Trip 2
The second trip of the day launched with little swell and the sun was shining. The first shark arrived within fifteen minutes of anchoring and was a very active 2 metre juvenile. We were then visited by a 2.7 metre shark which was recently tagged by the Dyer Island Conservation Trust.  The favourite sharks of the trip had to be the two 4.4 metre sharks that visited us. One which was very dark in colour and one with was a pale bronze colour. Clients were in awe of the dark 4.4 metre shark as it was extremely active and breached on the seal decoy a number of times which was magnificent to watch.  Towards the end of the day we were also visited by a very active 4.0 metre shark we know as “Trippster” who stuck around for the last hour of the trip.

An awesome day with these majestic animals.
