Location: Gansbaai, South Africa

Dive site: Joubertsdam

Water temp: Moderate

Visibility: Poor

Sightings: Bronze whaler sharks, Cape fur seal + Bottlenose dolphins

Summary: Good activity from our Bronze whaler sharks on the water today. A slight improvement in visibility as the fresh water begins to shift out of the bay. Majority of sightings were large, mature females, offering thrilling sightings of these majestic sharks. Whilst on anchor, a Cape fur seal, endemic to southern Africa, made a pass. Curious and playful, it offered a memorable sightings in addition to the sharks. Thank you to those who joined us at Marine Dynamics for this adventure!
