Summary: We launched from Kleinbaai Harbour in beautifully calm conditions, and it wasn’t long before we spotted a spout in the distance. An incredible encounter with a mother and calf Bryde’s whale in the shallow waters made for an amazing start to our trip! We were also lucky to see three highly endangered African penguins along the way. Upon arriving at the dive site, our guests eagerly suited up in their wetsuits, and almost immediately the bronze whaler sharks appeared. We encountered many different individuals, including several large females that came in nice and close to the cage, giving our divers unforgettable views. We also enjoyed a brief sighting of a short-tail stingray and witnessed a Cape fur seal actively hunting. On our journey back, we hugged the beautiful coastline and were thrilled to spot the last of the Marine Big 5, humpback dolphins. A huge thank you to all our guests for joining us on such a memorable trip!
