Daily Blog 17 February 2023 | Shark Cage Diving in South Africa

Guest Comments:

“Great crew, very informative. The seals were the highlight as no sharks arrived today!” – Jorge

“That’s wildlife! Thank you for the experience!” – Kornell + Kenny

17/02/2023

Location: Gansbaai, South Africa

Dive site: Joubertsdam

Water temp: Low

Visibility: Low

Sightings: Cape fur seals

Daily Summary: An overcast, winter-like day greeted us today for our two trips. The bay itself whilst teeming with seagulls and the odd few Cape fur seals unfortunately did not hold any shark sightings. Both of our trips also made a trip out to the Island system before finishing their time on the sea to take a closer look at the Cape fur seal colony of Gesyer Rock.
A big thank you to our guests that joined us today! we appreciate their patience and understanding.
