With only one trip today, we had lots of time on our hands to search for sharks today. As we approached the shallows we got our anchor down and attached the cage to the side of the boat. With our guests busy gearing up into their suits, we didn’t have to wait long for our first copper shark! And in our first cage jumped, with some stunning close passes by the cage our first group got some magnificent sightings of these sharks. For our second cage activity started out good, but the wind direction changed altering the slick, so we changed our anchor site and got our divers back in where the sharks revisited us in some deeper water. For our final group activity came and went, but we did get some excellent passes out of one shark in particular. As a special bonus we headed over to the island today for a quick peek at what the seals were up to. We cruised through shark alley and then on the way back from the island we managed to spot a humpback dolphin just by Dyer Island. Another fantastic trip out to sea!
