This morning we launched a little later which allowed for the rain to clear and sun to come out for us. Once on anchor in the Shallows we only had moments to wait till our first White shark appeared, a large female approximately 4.0m in length that we have not documented over the last five weeks since we have seen the sharks return to the bay, a fantastic sign to see new White sharks entering the bay. The second White shark to appear was none other than ‘Scarlett’ one of the largest females in the bay currently and one of our all-time favourite White sharks that has made the Marine Dynamics top 10 Iconic sharks. She did not stick around long but did cause a stir and left a mighty impression on our guests. The third and final White shark for the trip was the smallest yet the most active, with one of the feisty little females in the bay showing up and really giving our guests a good idea of the power and speed these animals have. The Copper sharks were constant companions around the boat today, taking turns with the White sharks to come into view and we also had a brief visit from a Cape Fur seal. A perfect way to start the weekend!

The second trip of the day spotted a shark quickly, a Copper shark that is, however after another 20 minutes a White shark turned up for this group. Things turned a little quite after this with the Copper sharks and a Short-tailed stingray keeping things interesting when the White sharks were not around.
