Summary: This morning, we launched from Gansbaai Harbour due to low tide. Just five minutes into our trip, we spotted a whale spout in the distance. As we approached, it quickly became clear that it was a Humpback whale! The whale gave us some fantastic sightings before we continued around Danger Point. Not long after, we were treated to a quick sighting of a Sunfish, the heaviest bony fish on Earth. Upon arriving at our dive site, we were delighted to spot a single critically endangered African Penguin. Only a few minutes in, the Bronze whaler sharks appeared. We were also joined by two well known Short-tail Stingrays, a brief sighting of a Broadnose sevengill shark, and watched a Cape Fur Seal amaze our guests with its calm and confident behaviour among the sharks. The second trip were lucky to have consistent shark sightings too, with the Bronze whaler and Broadnose sevengill returning. Thank you to everyone who joined us today!
