We were back on the water today after a day off due to some bad weather conditons and whilst the conditions had calmed down over night this mornings early launch saw overcast skies and still some of the swell sticking around from yesterday. We headed into the Geldsteen and had a little bit of a wait for our first White shark to arrive. The first few sharks were on the shy side however our third shark, a larger female by the name of “Fishing Line Shark” showed up and the activity started to pick up. We also had two well known male sharks turn up around this time as well, “Bruce” a juvenile shark adopted by one of our visitors and “Sellendilloh” an Ocearch tagged shark which you can find more information on here.

The second trip of the day launched and the conditions could not have been more different, the clouds had cleared to reveal a lovely sunny day and the swell had dropped. We had a shark almost instantly and the activity was continuous for this trip. We had many of the previous trips well-known sharks around the boat with the addition of a larger male known as “Dave” another one of our adopted sharks. A fantastic shark he unfortunatly did not stick around for long.

The third trip of the day was an exclusive for a group from Panama who enjoyed an afternoon of shark cage diving. Whilst the sun stayed out the chill factor increased with the wind as it picked up as the day went on, however the conditions didn’t affect the sharks as they had sharks around not long after arrival with some fantastic activity
