Depth: 9.5m + 9.5m

Visibility:  1m + 1m

Conditions: A windy overcast day.

This morning a slow drizzle came out of the sky, and our guests decided it was better to suit up into their wetsuits on land. After everyone got changed, we headed onto the boat and went out to sea. It was a windy morning as we headed out to our dive site in The Shallows, but luckily we anchored under the cover of the nearby dunes, so we weren’t swayed too much by the swell. Soon the Copper sharks arrived, and our divers jumped into the cage. Our divers were thrilled with the sharks swimming by. A Short-tailed Stingray came up from the deep and our divers were amazed by it’s amazing size. Despite the wind and clouds in the sky, our divers had an amazing time on the boat.

This afternoon we had a small group of guests joining us on board Slashfin in search of some sharks! We headed straight back to our cage in the Shallows and had a couple of copper sharks pretty quickly! With only one group to dive these guys made the most of their cage dive experience getting up close to these awesome sharks! With some stunning activity throughout the trip coupled with three breaches from the bronzies, our divers were over the moon to have such great activity. As our divers began to clamber out and watch the sharks from the top deck, we cleaned up, pulled the anchor and headed for home!
