Location: Gansbaai, South Africa

Dive Site: Joubertsdam

Water temp: Cold-moderate

Visibility: Poor

Sightings: Sevengill shark, Cape Fur seals + Humpback dolphins

Summary: Once again we were so excited to be finally able to go out at sea, after quite a few days of rain and strong winds. The visibility, unfortunately, did not improve significantly and we had to wait for quite some time for some action with just a Cape Fur seal coming to visit, but as soon as we got some brave divers to jump into the cage we had our first shark – a beautiful Broadnose Sevengill shark that came to us a few times giving everyone who were ready to get wet to see her from the cage. For our 2nd trip of the day we also got lucky to encounter a Broadnose sevengill female! She stayed deeper for a wile but luckily made a few appetences! We also had a quick visit from a Bronze whaler shark! Thanks to all our guests  for joining us today!
