After such a beautiful weekend we were met with overcast skies, a little bit more wind and swell, then we have experienced for the last 3 days. Thankfully by the time we launched the rain had stopped and the rest of the day was clear for our two trip.

The Copper sharks were around all day to keep us company, with the sharks turning up quickly for both trips and sticking around for each group. We had similar sightings today as we have been over the last few days, mostly female, and most of them sub-adult and adult, between 2.0m – 2.5m. There was one small Copper shark in the mix approximately 1.0m in length, a tad on the shy side.

We also had those Short-tailed stingrays visit again today, another plus side to the warmer waters that we all enjoy just as much as they do. It looked as if it was two seperate individuals as two shadows could be seen cruising just under the waters surface.
