Location: Gansbaai, South Africa

Dive site: Joubertsdam

Water temp: Moderate

Visibility: Poor

Sightings: Bronze whaler sharks, African penguins + Short-tail stingray

Summary:
We set out to sea early in the morning. Before anchoring, we noticed a Sub-Antarctic skua following our boat. Just as we were about to drop anchor, we spotted the first Bronze Whaler shark near the cage. Divers were thrilled to have multiple close encounters with these amazing creatures. During the trip, we also had visits from Short-tail stingray. On our way back, we hugged the coastline and spotted a raft of African penguins. It was a great trip and we want to thank everyone who joined us today.
