Location: Gansbaai, South Africa

Dive site: Joubertsdam

Water temp: Warm

Visibility: Poor

Sightings: African penguins, Cape fur seals, Short-tail stingrays, Bronze whaler sharks + Bottlenose dolphins

Summary: The Gansbaai area put on an absolute show today for our guests! Arriving at anchor, we were greeted by our Bronze whaler sharks who displayed amazing breaching behavior and stayed with us throughout our trip, occasionally joined by a large Short-tail stingray, as well as a playful Cape fur seal. As the sky cleared and temperatures warmed, it turned into the perfect day to be on the boat, topped off by a surprise sighting of Bottlenose dolphins! A truly successful day and a brilliant way to spend Valentine’s! Thank you to everyone who joined us <3
