Another great morning to start our shark day with. As soon as we reached our dive site and dropped the cage, copper sharks started to arrive one by one, investigating the baits and rubbing against each other. Our guests were absolutely thrilled to see the stunning sharks around them and quite entertained by some tail slaps. As the morning progressed we were visited by a short-tailed stingray who came up to check out our bait and then a cape fur seal made a few quick circles around our boat. Unfortunately, Slashfin had to say ‘see you later’ to the beautiful animals so it could greet new guests at the harbour.

For the second trip we once again headed to our dive site in The Shallows. After a brief trip with a spray splashing across the bow, we arrived at the site and quickly attached the cage to the vessel. The Copper sharks arrived quickly and showed our guests their beautiful colours in the sun-light. The divers were amazed as the active Copper sharks swam closely in front of the cage. At the end of the trip everyone was amazed by the amazing sights of these animals. As the crew started to hoist the cage to the back of Slashfin, a Cape Fur Seal came around and lazily gave himself a scratch next to the boat, ending the trip on a comedic note.
