Who is up for some shark cage diving and a water-based rollercoaster? The sea was dancing all over the place today with a small swell but some stronger winds, however once on anchor things were actually quite comfortable. The first trip of the day launched at the reasonable time of 9am and had a Copper shark approach the boat quickly unfortunately though it didn’t stick around. The Short-tailed stingrays also made an appearance and this group was also treated to the sight of a Southern Right whale.

The second trip of the day launched into similar, choppy conditions as the first, however this didn’t dampen the groups’ spirits and once on anchor we quickly saw a shark making its’ way up the scent trail. This was not a White but the current sharky star of the bay, the Copper shark. This trip saw nearly constant activity from what appeared to be four larger Copper sharks and one very small individual as well. We also had a visit from two Short-tailed stingrays that took turns to approach the surface.
