Conditions: Beautiful sunny day on a flat sea with almost no wind.
It was an early morning when we headed to The Shallows. Our crew quickly put us on anchor and the cage in the water. Our divers climbed into their wetsuits and it wasn’t long before the first Copper sharks arrived. Our divers climbed into the cage and were thrilled by the sight of these beautiful sharks swimming by. The fact that it was a beautiful day out at sea helped make this a fantastic trip.
For our second trip it was back to the shallows to pick up our cage and begin our mission to see some sharks. We didn’t have to wait too long for the copper sharks to rock up, and they gave a wonderful display of what they’re all about to our first group of divers. With some close passes by the cage, our guests got up close and personal with these stunning sharks. Activiy was steady throughout the trip, and all our divers got to witness some stunning sharks under and above the the water. With that ticked we headed back to the harbour for our final trip.
Our last trip of the day was an exclusive charter of 5 people from Russia. We started our trip with a tour of Shark Alley, Geyser Rock and Dyer Island, with some wonderful sightings of the seals chilling in the afternoon sunshine. We said goodbye to our island folks, and headed over to the shallows where we got sharks very quickly Activity was good through our time in the shallows, and our guests made the most of their exclusive time in the cage. After some great activity we headed back in.
