Summary: A beautiful day on the water, with calm seas and clear skies awaiting us as we launched from Kleinbaai Harbour. Despite orca presence in the bay the day previous, the Bronze whaler sharks did not disappoint, arriving at the dive site shortly after anchorage. With incredible visibility, guests both in the water and on the boat were able to witness these sharks at their full potential. With a mix of male and female individuals, the sightings were nothing short of incredible. Whilst on anchor, we were also able to view more of our marine biodiversity with a brief sighting of the Short-tail stingray, a Cape fur seal and box jellyfish. Concluding the first trip, an unexpected visitor passed by the vessel, a juvenile Scalloped hammerhead! Crusiing along the surface, guests were able to tick off two shark species for the day! The second trip proceeded with great Bronze whaler sightings, wrapping up the perfect day on the water.
