Location: Joubertsdam

Water Temperature: 13.2°C +

Depth: 8m +

Visibility: 0.5m +

Conditions: Cloudy in the morning, with the sun breaking through in the afternoon.

After yesterday’s stormy weather, a few clouds still lingered in the sky, but on a flat sea, we quickly arrived at our dive site and our divers climbed into their wetsuits. Luckily we didn’t have to wait long for our guest to arrive – a small white shark snuck up from behind our boat and almost surprised our divers in the cage. The shark turned out to be surprisingly active and came around again and again to entertain our guests. One of our local Cape fur seals was also brave enough to visit our cage, and tempted fate by swimming right behind and next to the white shark. With the sun breaking through, it was an amazing trip out at sea.
