Location: Joubertsdam
Water Temperature: 18.7°C + 19.0°C
Depth: 19.2m + 10.4m
Visibility: 1.0m + 1.0m
Conditions: Clear skies, little to no swell and slight wind.

Another stunning day on the water, the beautiful conditions from yesterday had carried on and we had just some small swells and slight winds for the trips onboard Slashfin today! It was a day for the Copper sharks with both trips experiencing the arrival of these sharks very quickly and also consistantly seen throughout the trips. We had multiple individuals around, most between 1.5m – 2.5m length and yet again mostly females with one specific male, quite feisty and around the entire day.

We also had some Short-tailed stingrays join us throughout the morning and afternoon. They, like the Copper sharks, appear to appreciate the warmer side of our temperature range and were happy o glide effortlessly up and down in the water column.

A beautiful Friday out on the sea!
