Trip Comments:

As we woke up this morning we could hear the mist horn indicating that we would have to deal with it the whole day as there was very little wind. The sun did push through a couple of times but only for short periods of time. The sharks seemed to be a bit shy this morning as we had to wait for a bit before we spotted out first shark of the day. But soon after we spotted our first shark more started to show up. We ended up seeing 7 different sharks on our first trip. Amongst these 7 sharks were some big females including Malcom. There was still a lot of mist out at sea when we left for our second trip. The sharks seemed to stay close to the spot we anchored for the first trip as we didn’t have to wait for sharks to show up. We spotted some big females again including Malcom and Vanessa. Vanessa can be easily distinguished from the rest by the bite marks she has just above the gills on her left flank and on her right pectoral fin.
