Location: Gansbaai, South Africa

Dive site: Joubertsdam

Water temp: Moderate

Visibility: Poor

Sightings: Bronze whaler sharks, Cape fur seal + Broadnose Sevengill shark

Summary: Today we headed out bright and early to make the most of the calm conditions before the wind, and swell picked up. As we departed Kleinbaai Harbour, we were treated to a breathtaking sunrise over Joubertsdam, the perfect start to another incredible day on the water. Upon arriving at our dive site across the bay, our guests received their briefing and geared up for the adventure ahead. It didn’t take long before we were surrounded by Bronze Whaler Sharks, with fantastic activity throughout the trip! Adding to the excitement, we were fortunate to encounter the remarkable Broadnose Sevengill Shark, an ancient and prehistoric species. We were also joined by a curious Cape Fur Seal, making the experience even more special. A huge thank you to everyone who joined us today!
