Sightings: Bronze whaler sharks, Short-tail stingray, African penguins + Storm Petrels
Summary: Overcast skies but calm conditions awaited as Slashfin launched from Kleinbaai Harbour. En route to the dive site, the critically endangered African penguins were encountered along the water, swimming as a raft through the bay. At the dive site, guests were soon greeted by the Bronze whaler sharks around the vessel. Consistent activity throughout the trip allowed divers an up close experience with these sharks, with the additional brief sighting of a Short-tail stingray, a benthic dweller. Thank you to everyone who joined us today, it was a pleasure sharing our sightings with you.
