We headed out bright and early for our sunrise start this morning to the shallows! We got ourselves anchored and geared up our guests to start the morning trip. We had a very quick glimpse of a shark on this trip pretty much 20 minutes after anchoring. It was the 3m male white shark that has been cruising around the shallows recently. Evidently a little shy this morning with only the one pass, but going on the previous few days we were lucky to catch him. We tried a couple of different spots in the shallows after this encounter but unfortunately were unable to coax another shark towards us.

For our second trip of the day we reached our anchor spot and as the wind had changed while we changed over, we moved our anchor site and the paid dividends. Within minutes of anchoring we had the 3m male again, and in the mid-morning sun it appeared he’d grown in confidence. Our first cage got 2 excellent passes, and it got better with each cage. We even managed to get an  eager group of double divers in the cage, and towards the end of this trip we were also seal cage diving!

Our third trip of the day experienced a slight increase in wind, and while it was quiet to start the trip, we had some wonderful views and a cheeky cape fur seal to keep us busy while we waited for one of our white shark friends to show up
