We headed out bright and early for our first trip to the shallows this morning! And very quickly we had our first copper sharks, so our divers got into their wetsuits and swiftly into the cage. We got some stunning activity for this first cage, and our divers really enjoyed seeing the copper sharks up close. In went our second group and halfway through they got a white sharks, a 2.5m male. This guy was a little feisty this morning, trying to sneak up on the lines! We got some nice acrobatic activity out of this guy and then off he went. The copper sharks stuck around for the rest of the trip and then we headed back into the harbour.
We started our second trip with sun shinning bright and very calm sea. As we got to our dive site the crew picked up the cage and we were ready to go as the sharks already started to arrive. Before our guests had time to get into the cage a 2.5m white shark made its pass around the boat. Minutes later Bronze whalers came to check out our baits making some really nice passes close to the cage. Fortunately for everyone the white shark that made the appearance in the beginning came back multiple times giving all our divers the same experience. Short-tailed stingray also came up to the surface to say hi to our guests. Once we were done with an incredible trip full of shark action we headed back to the harbour.
We ended the day with a beautiful third trip. After a smooth, brief ride across the sea, we quickly arrived at our dive-site. As our divers climbed into their wetsuits, the first Copper sharks arrived. Our divers quickly went down into the cage and with some beautiful visibility in the water, all our guests had an amazing view of all the shark activity around the boat. Towards the end of our trip, not one, but two short-tailed stingrays came up to the boat as well. With some gorgeous weather and amazing activity, it turned into a fantastic finish of the day.
