Jaw-dropping is a great way to describe today. Beautiful conditions and some fantastic shark sightings!

We headed out as last boat onto anchor but as soon as the Dream Catcher had settled we had our first shark, the activity was quick and as the morning progress more White sharks appeared. Things became a little quite towards the end of our first trip but thankfully picked up again once our second trip was back on anchor.

We encountered a nice mix of sharks today with the largest a big male over 4.0m in length and with a certain quality that had people enthralled perhaps the sheer size of the shark or maybe its calm movements as he carved a path through the water! We also had two smaller males including the well known Mini Nemo, one of our Iconic sharks here at Marine Dynamics and a Dyer Island Conservation Trusts study animal. The females that made up the rest of the sightings were both around the 4.0m length and comprised of the individual missing the upper lobe to her tail and a newer shark to the bay sporting distinctive scarring on her dorsal fin.

A fantastic start to the weekend.
