Sightings: Bronze whaler sharks, Cape fur seal, Short-tail stingray, African penguins, Bryde’s whale + Storm Petrels
Summary: We were finally back on the water after a day off due to heavy rainfall! Not long after launching from Kleinbaai Harbour, we came across a large raft of critically endangered African penguins, followed by a surprise visit from a Bryde’s whale, and plenty of seabirds. After a few great encounters, we made our way to the dive site, and not long after, the first bronze whaler sharks appeared! We enjoyed some fantastic close sightings, along with a feeding Cape fur seal and a short-tail stingray. Thanks to everyone who joined us today!
