Only one trip out on the big blue today, but it was a beautiful day to be out on the water! Within 20 minutes of arrival we had a small 2m juvenile shark circling our boat. He was the only shark for over an hour to be around the cage. However, for the last hour or so of the trip we were lucky to see another four sharks come by and investigate our bait and decoy. All within the 2 – 3 m range with the exception of one, who was approximately 4 m in length. Very few markings and distinguishing features made it difficult to know if it was a shark we had seen previously. She didn’t stay for long, but everyone got a great view and an unforgettable memory of this amazing creature!

If you are looking to get up close and personal with the great white shark then White Shark Diving in Gansbaai, and more specifically with Marine Dynamics, is a once-in-a-lifetime experience you won’t want to miss.
