Location: Joubertsdam

Water Temperature: 13.5°C + 13.0°C

Depth: 11.0m + 8.3m

Visibility: 0.5m + 1m

Conditions: Beautiful sunny day, with a little swell.

The sun just peaked over the horizon as we headed out to sea. After a brief bounce over the waves exiting the harbour, it was smooth sailing towards our dive-site. Once we arrived the cage went into the water, and our guests climbed into their wetsuits. Soon our first Copper sharks arrived and our divers went into the cage. The shark behaved fantastically as they came around again and again. We briefly had a visit of a white shark who really made a splash in front of our divers. Towards the end of the trip we also had a brief visit of a short-tailed stingray.

We started our second trip of the day with a lot of sunshine and a bit of a swell that made it quite a fun ride to the Shallows. As soon as we reached our dive site our guests geared up very quickly and were ready to enter the cage as the first Copper sharks already started to appear. And just as we were enjoying our beautiful Bronzies, big female white shark (Clubtail) made her first appearence, impressing everyone on the bout with its size. She came arround multiple times giving quite a show for our guests. At the end of the trip we also got to enjoy another white shark that was smaller than Clubtail but still made quite an impression on the audience. Once the cage was empty we were ready to head back to the harbour.
