Gearing up for a white shark weekend! And what an end to the working week it was, with 4 white sharks on our first trip as well as a couple of copper sharks we were spoilt for choice! On multiple occasions we had two white sharks infront of the cage, so sometimes didn’t know where to look! Awesome viewing so lets begin. First up we had the female with what looks like the camera tag clamp marks around her dorsal, she was nice and active for our first group of cage divers giving us some excellent areal displays. Next up we had the 4m female with a notch out of her tail, and a white scar line across the right side of her dorsal. She pounced on the decoy this morning surprising everyone on board and our second group of cage divers got to witness this from the waterline! On we went with our cage dive day and none other than mini Nemo popped up and spent a good 30 minutes prowling around the boat every now and again going for the lines in the water. He is always a spectacular shark to watch and our divers were very appreciative to share the water with him today. Our final shark of the day was another 4m shark with a very scratched up head that we have seen on a few previous trips! This shark comes and goes but sometimes goes full force for the decoy so you have to keep your wits about you! With our second trip we had a white shark nice and quick, with steady activity through this trip as well, we couldn’t have asked for a better way to be going into the weekend!
