Trip 1
The view over the bay this morning was a little gloomy with grey clouds filling the sky and rain persistant for most of the early part of the day however this stop for the beginning of our first trip and held off for the rest of the day. The first shark of the day appeared approximately 30 minutes after Slashfin arrived on the scene as a estimated 3.0m male we have become familiar with over the last few weeks turned up. The first two cages were able to enjoy this shark and the second, another male but smaller before things became a little quite. Towards the end of the trip the activity picked up again with new sharks arriving and some of our earlier animals returning.

Trip 2
The second trip was off to a flying start with a shark spotted as we anchored. The sharks were constant for this trip with sharks in sight most of the time, even more than one at a time, however the visibility really did make it a challenge to see these animals. This trip seemed to be dominated by the male White sharks till a female approximately 3.3m in length appeared, one we know very well, so well infact she does have a name and that is “Mini Rosie”, who we have known for close to three years now and who is certainly not mini as more! We were also treated to a few sightings of a Short-tailed stingray as it glided up through the murky waters to the surface.
