Number of Sharks: First Trip (4 Sharks) – Second Trip (6 Sharks) – Third Trip (5 Sharks)

The first trip of the day saw 4 white sharks today! One of the sharks that arrived was a well-known shark called Mandy, a 3 m female white shark. We also observed a large 4 m male at the decoy who made some very nice passes right next to the cage, thrilling the spectators inside!

The second trip started where the first left off siting 6 white sharks, one being one of the tagged sharks the research team had tagged earlier last week. He came in briefly to investigate the bait but did not hang around very long. Another 3.6 m shark came in and hung around for the majority of the trip.

Trip three totalled 6 sharks, again re-siting the same 3.6 m sharks and the tagged shark from trip two. The sharks were a little slow and hesitant to start with today but there was plenty of action at the cage and a great experience for everyone on board!
