Sightings: Bronze whaler sharks + Cape fur seal
Summary: An eventful day on the water, with a wet and wild start! To prepare divers for the drizzle, wetsuits were adorned on land so as soon as we arrived in the shallows divers were ready to enter the water. Bronze whaler sharks were all around the boat, with divers pulling themselves deeper underwater to witness the individuals up close. A playful Cape fur seal also graced the waters around the vessel, predating on mullet, a prey item the Bronze whaler sharks and birds were interested in too! Thank you so much to all who joined us, it was a pleasure having you on board Slashfin!
