Our first trip headed out into the early morning straight for the shallows. We approached our anchor spot got our divers geared up and within minutes we had copper sharks around the cage! Our first group of divers headed into the water, and with stunning visibility today, enjoyed the sharks in all their beauty. With some lovely activity from these sharks, our second group were eager to get into the water. And this time they were the lucky ones with a 2.5m female white sharks entering the fray from the right and side of the cage! She gave us some spectacular passes and then off she went to enjoy the rest of her morning. The copper sharks saw us to the end of the trip as we returned to Kleinbaai to beat the rain!
Our second trip launched from Gansbaai harbour as the tide was pushing low in kleinbaai, so we enjoyed a lovely tour around danger point on our way out to the anchor site in the shallows. The copper sharks were with us again quickly, joined shortly after by a nice short tailed stingray! The copper sharks were beautiful in the clear water this morning. And soon after Clubtail joined us to show off some of her might. This large 4.2m female is a joy to watch. The same 2.5m female with the pigmentation marks on the dorsal then returned to check out this set of divers and we finished up with some more copper sharks!
