Sightings: Bronze whaler sharks, Broadnose sevengill shark, Cape fur seal, Southern right whales + Short-tail stingray
Summary: Blue skies, low wind and calm water. Perfect conditions for a day of shark cage diving! We made our way towards the dive site where the Bronze whaler sharks of varying sizes provided an exhilarating experience for guests. Our sightings did not stop there, with a Broadnose sevengill shark emerging from deeper waters. To top off the cage diving experience, divers got to share the water with one of the largest marine species of stingray, the Short-tail stingray! After a successful trip, a pair of Southern Right whales appeared in the shallows, showing off the diversity of animals that can be encountered in Gansbaai. For the second trip of the day we were same as first trip incredibly lucky with our wildlife sightings! Thank you to everyone for joining us today, it was a pleasure having you onboard Slashfin!
