It was a wild and windy trip out on the bay today, and whilst it wasn’t the nicest day to be out on the water the sharks were happy to be around the boat with some fantastic activity seen this morning! To begin with the sharks were a bit slow but within the hour of seeing our first shark things started to change for the better, a larger, darker female made her way in and was quickly followed by some other new arrivals! One of these new sharks was a large male , very easily identified by the many parasite patches that covered him. This shark really showed off with many passes right by the cage and also some fantastic movements above the water! Towards the end of the trip we had one of well known sharks come on by, this was “Mini Nemo” a juvenile female with a shortened right pectoral fin, the last time we saw “Mini Nemo” was during our Winter season out at the Island back in August. Welcome back to this fast and feisty little guy! A wild day on the water with wild shark activity…
