Location: Gansbaai, South Africa

Dive site: Joubertsdam

Water temp: Moderate

Visibility: Moderate

Sightings: Bronze whaler sharks, Great white shark, Short-tail stingray + Cape fur seal

Trip Summary: The day started very early for our divers in the first group, but it was certainly worth it! The weather conditions were in our favor, and shortly after we left the harbor numerous curious and hungry Sub-antarctic skuas accompanied us during the leisurely ride to the dive site! Once again, it took only a few minutes before we spotted the first sharks! In fact, only after not even 5 minutes a group of Bronze Whaler sharks, with many females and a couple of males encircled us, and, intrigued by our divers inside the cage, they stayed with us for the entire trip. Copper sharks showed all their beauty by getting very close to the cage to check who was inside! All our divers were pleasantly surprised and amazed at how incredibly lucky they were to be able to admire them so closely!
