Location: Joubertsdam

Water temperature: Low

Visibility: Low

Sightings: Great White sharks, Copper sharks and a Cape Fur seal

Right from the start we got ourselves some incredible action with this large great white shark coming to our boat

Same beautiful 4.3m female

She spent with us some time

And let us have a nice look

Coming so close to the cage givimg nice long passes

And then a bit smaller individual (~3m) came as well

Who needs fish when there is kelp in the water

Look at this beauty!

Volunteers don’t mind 13 degrees, they want sharks!

This smaller sharks came back quite a few times so everyone got a chance to see her underwater

And out of the water!

Thank you all for joining us today! You did absolutely great!

No time to waste, the Great Whites appeared quickly this afternoon

Now I want to see your best, pearly white smiles everyone, like this!

White sharks are known for being a surface active species and looking above the water, like this juvenile female

A group of mates visiting from the United Kingdom getting ready tto come face to face with a Great White shark

Whilst each White shark has a unique edge to their dorsal fin this female has such a distinct point to the tip

Splash down! What a day with this feisty little female

This large female shark made it a habit to introduce herself, up close and personal to nearly all of our divers

Getting the chance to see a Great White shark overrides the need to put on their wetsuit in many people, GWS > cold water!

A stunning day with not one but two different female Great Whites

A bg thank you to our guests from the afternoon trip, we hope you all enjoyed your experience with the MD team!
