Wild Wednesdays with white sharks!! Today we had some great sightings of a few different white sharks some new some old, but all we welcome all who would like to have a peek at our divers in the cage. Early risers saw two large female white sharks in quick succession, with the 4m female missing the chunk of her tail. She hung around briefly for a couple of passes, but was replace by another 4m female who was a new shark for us and very pale in colour. She appeared to have abrasions on her dorsal fin that could have been from a tag, so it is something that we will check up on in our databases to see if we know her! We were also visited by a couple of different copper sharks on this trip, which is always cool to get up close and personal with them in the cage! On our second trip we didn’t need to wait too long for a white shark, with a very dark large female crusing around the cage. Super graceful she was beautiful to watch glide on by! With a bit of a drop off in activity, we had a couple of copper sharks here and there, but 5 mins before the end of the trip we had the female with bite marks on her right side join us for a couple of really nice passes. With the third and final trip of the day, white sharks and copper sharks were seen very quickly and we has yet another shark day on the water!
