Location: Joubertsdam

Temperature: 17.6°C

Depth: 9  m

Visibility: 1m

Conditions: rainy overcast day turning into a beautiful sunny day at sea

We boarded Slashfin under an overcast sky and in rainy conditions but as soon as we got to our dive location the sky started to clear up and the sun came out to warm our excited divers up. Because of the rain, our divers got into their wetsuits on land so all we had to do at the Shallows is to wait for the first sharks to arrive. Only a couple of minutes later after we attached the cage to the boat the first Copper shark arrived and its friends followed the lead and started circling the boat. Our guests couldn’t wait to get into the cage and were thrilled to get into the same water with the beautiful sharks. As the day proceeded we were visited by a Short-Tailed Stingray a few times and a Cape Fur seal also popped out in front of our boat to say hi. We were welcomed back at the Great White House with some delicious soup and homemade bread.
